“Pankh” Initiative

Empowering Underprivileged Kids

“Pankh” is an initiative by OCS Foundation and EFC dedicated to underprivileged kids, who have dreams and aspirations just like any other child. However, due to their disadvantaged circumstances, these dreams often get overshadowed by the struggle for basic necessities. OCS Foundation aims to provide these children with opportunities for growth and education through a series of outdoor experiential workshops.

This ongoing program takes place every month, where children from different evening schools are taken out for workshops. The objective is to enhance their capacity to think, understand, learn, and pursue their dreams. To further support their education, OCS has launched pilot projects to establish libraries and “Digital Playgrounds” (computer labs) for these kids. These facilities will eventually be set up in remote locations where they are most needed. OCS also plans to launch a donation program called “Donate a Book and Laptop” to further support the children’s education.
